Monaghan Job Club PDF Print E-mail

Job Clubs provide training to assist participants who are ready for work to develop skills which are useful to find a job. The Job Club provides a structured opportunity that helps unemployed jobseekers to benefit from attending group-based, non-formal, part-time job-search training modules.

The Job Club is free and open to anyone who is ready to work and is between 16 and 64 years of age. Participants do not have to be on a social welfare payment but if they are, their payment will not be affected by becoming a member of a Job Club.  Job Club participants retain their social welfare allowances during the training modules and receive €20 per week to help in dealing with additional costs.

Each Job Club takes place in one of five locations throughout County Monaghan (Monaghan town, Ballybay, Carrickmacross, Castleblayney and Clones).  The Job Club takes place over the course of 3 weeks for a 3 hour period, four days per week.
